The Complete eDiscovery Workflow, on your own private instance
Ingest through production, with nothing carved out into a separate module or a separate fee. Bates numbering, redactions, privilege logs and load-file production are part of the platform license, not add-ons priced per matter. The pricing page shows our published prices.

The predictable monthly cost is substantially lower than competitors, with no hidden hosting or user fees. It allows us to pass real savings on to our clients.
Flat-rate eDiscovery No long-term contract Add AI when you need it
Calculate the savings
Kavarn is an eDiscovery platform on a private, dedicated instance for law firms and legal departments, operated by Konvergence Inc at a published $3,250 a month on a 12-month agreement.
Calculate the savings
At that volume the flat rate is cheaper than per-GB hosting across the published range. The recurring $3,250 holds up to the 2 TB of storage included, with ingestion quoted above 1 TB. Where the flat rate wins, and where it does not.
Per-GB figures use published market ranges and our own assumptions. How these figures are worked out. Run it on your own numbers.

Designed for ease and prolonged usage
Your secure instance, on your encrypted private network
A single-tenant eDiscovery instance on its own encrypted private network, reachable only by the people you invite. Fully dedicated bare metal is available on request.
Private and sovereign
Dedicated, invite-only, and on its own private network. Matter data, searches, audit log and AI responses stay only in your database. Share a zone when the matter requires it. More on how that is enforced.
A data zone for every case
Hierarchy: A top-level zone is a case. Child zones organize the data stored in that case. No limit enforced on the number of cases and child zones. Your instance, your rules.
Deduplication is intrinsic
Identical files resolve to one hash on content-addressed storage. Deduplication happens in storage, not as a processing step you pay extra for.
An immutable audit log
Every tracked action is timestamped and hashed. Export the log by database or with a production if custody is challenged.
What can the platform do?

Fees we don't charge
We charge one flat fee per private instance. Most eDiscovery invoices are built from line items. Eight of them never appear on ours, and ingest processing is one flat fee.
User seats
$0
No per-user fee
Others: $75 to $125 per user, per month
Hosting
$0 per GB, or per doc
2 TB included in the monthly rate; more storage from $345 a month
Others: charged per GB, every month
Production
$0
no fee per export or production; uses the 10 TB monthly bandwidth, then $60 per TB
Others: $150 to $185 an hour of technical time, or $275 per GB
Bates stamping
$0
part of ingestion: covered for the first 1 TB
Others: $0.005 to $0.02 per page, where not already inside a production charge
OCR
$0
part of ingestion: covered for the first 1 TB
Others: $0.005 to $0.03 per page
Analytics
$0
email threading and clustering included
Others: $16.67 to $150 per GB, or $0.04 a document. The unit differs by provider
Redaction
$0

Others: $0.90 to $2.50 a file, or $65 an hour when a reviewer applies them
Database export at matter end
$0
your data back at no charge; uses the monthly bandwidth
Others: $15 to $275 per GB
Ingest Processing
$1,725 once
covers your first 1 TB
Others: charged per GB loaded
Bandwidth beyond the included 10 TB a month is $60 per TB. Ingestion above 1 TB at onboarding is quoted.
A team of 6 pays $450 to $750 a month in seat fees alone on those rate cards. On Kavarn, enjoy no user fees.
The comparison figures come from providers' own public rate cards on Washington State contract No. 10521 (contract 10521). Not every line favors us: support beyond the 8 included hours is $290 an hour, above the $105 to $175 an hour some providers charge for project management. Every rate we charge is on the price sheet. There is no per-user fee and no limit on named users. Each standard instance is sized for about 100 people working at the same time; firms that regularly need more can add a second instance.
Questions about what the platform does
Is every capability included in the platform license?
Yes, with one exception. AI features run on a GPU and come with the AI Suite add-on, priced on the pricing page. Nothing else is sold as a separate module.
What production formats can the platform produce?
We support Native, PDF and Mixed productions. We support the Concordance format with metadata, DAT and OPT load files, Bates numbering, and PDF conversion. For choosing between native and imaged production, the production guide covers which file types break when imaged.
How does the platform handle deduplication?
Deduplication is built into the storage platform natively. Storage is a hashed, content-addressed system, so identical content resolves to the same address and a second copy is never stored rather than being removed by a processing step. Bates stamped versions only append bates numbers to the original binary so there's no wasted space.
Is the platform multi-tenant?
No. Each firm runs on its own dedicated, invite-only instance built on Konvergence's patented Archimedes platform, rather than working inside one shared application alongside every other customer. Separation is enforced at the hypervisor, and fully dedicated bare metal is available where a firm requires it.
