eDiscovery software features, from ingest to production

Ingest through production, with nothing carved out into a separate module or a separate fee. Bates numbering, redactions, privilege logs and load-file production are part of the platform license, not add-ons priced per matter. The pricing page shows our published prices.

Demo matter and sample data

Your secure instance, on your encrypted private network

A single-tenant eDiscovery instance on its own encrypted private network, reachable only by the people you invite. Fully dedicated bare metal is available on request.

Private and sovereign

Dedicated, invite-only, and on its own private network. Matter data, searches, audit log and AI responses stay only in your database. Share a zone when the matter requires it. More on how that is enforced.

A data zone for every case

Hierarchy: A top-level zone is a case. Child zones organize the data stored in that case. No limit enforced on the number of cases and child zones. Your instance, your rules.

Deduplication is intrinsic

Identical files resolve to one hash on content-addressed storage. Deduplication happens in storage, not as a processing step you pay extra for.

An immutable audit log

Every tracked action is timestamped and hashed. Export the log by database or with a production if custody is challenged.

What can the platform do?

Every capability below is part of the platform license, except AI features, which come with the AI Suite add-on. The terms are defined in the glossary, and the production checklist sets out what to verify before a volume leaves.

Ingest and process

  • All major file types supported
  • PST, mail and mixed file-type ingestion, TIFF accepted for ingestion
  • Metadata preservation and extraction
  • Exception and error handling
  • Text extraction and OCR, PDF conversion
  • Native email viewing

Deduplicate and cull

  • Native deduplication, inherent to content-addressed storage
  • Date, custodian and keyword culling
  • Metadata-based filtering

Organize and secure

  • Data zone and case hierarchy for matters
  • Role-based access, from executive admin to client staff
  • Granular access controls and per-zone email invitations
  • Folders for organizing documents within a matter

Search and review

  • Indexed full-text search across content and metadata
  • Advanced AI search and knowledge graph features, with the AI Suite add-on. AI Suite GPUs are shared as standard; dedicated GPUs are available on request
  • Tagging, annotations, notes and document coding, persisted across sessions
  • Advanced metadata filtering
  • Print with annotations and notes
  • Redaction
  • Review assignments

Identify and log privilege

  • Manual privilege tagging and filtering
  • QC and review assignments
  • Privilege log generation

Produce, audit and defend

  • PDF productions with OCR and metadata
  • Tamper-evident audit log, exportable by database or production
  • Bates numbering
  • Load-file production, DAT and OPT
  • Native and PDF production with metadata

Questions about what the platform does

Is every capability included in the platform license?

Yes, with one exception. AI features run on a GPU and come with the AI Suite add-on, priced on the pricing page. Nothing else is sold as a separate module.

What production formats can the platform produce?

We support Native, PDF and Mixed productions. We support the Concordance format with metadata, DAT and OPT load files, Bates numbering, and PDF conversion. For choosing between native and imaged production, the production guide covers which file types break when imaged.

How does the platform handle deduplication?

Deduplication is built into the storage platform natively. Storage is a hashed, content-addressed system, so identical content resolves to the same address and a second copy is never stored rather than being removed by a processing step. Bates stamped versions only append bates numbers to the original binary so there's no wasted space.

Is the platform multi-tenant?

No. Each firm runs on its own dedicated, invite-only instance built on Konvergence's patented Archimedes platform, rather than working inside one shared application alongside every other customer. Separation is enforced at the hypervisor, and fully dedicated bare metal is available where a firm requires it.
